Prisonblogs.net provides free blog hosting for prisoners. Inspired by Josh Wolf’s experience at FDC Dublin, it is one of several projects he’s begun while behind bars. Ideas and opinions expressed on prisonblogs.net or any of the blogs it hosts are those of the authors and not prisonblogs.net, Josh Wolf, or the developers and maintainers of the site.

Persevering Prison

I'm an Arizona prison blogger, freelance writer, advocate for civil/human rights, nature lover and admirer of eccentricity, individuality and bizarreness. I have a penchant for open minds, smart/sassy mouths, mischievous natures and inner/outer beauty in its infinite forms. I'm kind-hearted, accepting, understanding, compassionate, wise and caring, as well as passionate, fun-loving, mischievous, outspoken and a bit of an odd-ball.

I am currently incarcerated at the Arizona Department of Corrections Tucson prison complex. I have two blogs:

imprisoned with my son

my son has spent over four years now in prison in Ghana.
He was given two 20 year sentences in 2004..to run concurrently..or is that consecutively..i never know which is which.
How can i write down how im feeling..how he is feeling.
its terrible.
i cry at the drop of a hat.my life is on hold,my last years given my age in prison too.
There is some hope but hope is slow process. everyday is another day of waiting of being patient of saying dont worry be positive this will be over soon.

Boy do I have a story to tell!

I have recently finished serving a ten year sentence in a federal penitentiary. For ten years I have kept a journal of all I have witnessed. Now I would like to share it with the world. I would love to read your comments and hear your feed back.

Hype,
P.S. Those google ads on my site are there for a reason, so please click and help support my blog.

Behind the wall

Please let me know if you like this first chapter. Let me start out by saying the following story is 100% matter of fact. Ive been to prison in all 4 corners of the USA, and I'm not ashamed of it, and if you read this, youll see why. I'm going to give you a real convicts veiw from the inside out. On top of that, I've seen and done some hair raising shit. A multi millionare once contracted me to kill his wife, but I'm more of a hustler than anything else, so I worked him for about $8, 000 and warned the wife to watch her back at the same time .

It Starts

...As I had written in my first attempt at coming out and presenting the woes and throws of an ex-inmate caught up in "the world" and what it has been like for me, a new chapter in that journey has begun!

Getting to know me
